Senior Commercial Manager

Description DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (to include, but not limited to):
· Lead the commercial strategy and execution for data center projects, including contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and risk management.
· Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for commercial issues and inquiries.
· Collaborate with internal teams, including project managers, engineers, and finance, to develop commercial proposals and pricing models.
· Review and negotiate contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and client specifications.
· Monitor project budgets, forecasts, and financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
· Provide commercial guidance and support to project teams, ensuring that commercial aspects are managed effectively throughout the project lifecycle.
· Stay abreast of market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities to inform commercial decision-making and strategy.
· Prepare and present reports, presentations, and financial analyses to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
· Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in commercial management, with a focus on construction, real estate, or data center projects.
· Strong understanding of commercial principles, contract law, and risk management.
· Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and financial modeling software.
· Experience with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera) is a plus.
· Knowledge of sustainable construction practices and LEED accreditation is a plus.
