Job Description AbbVie is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Sr. Campus Recruiter to join our team and play a vital role in recruiting and building the leaders of tomorrow. As the Sr. Campus Recruiter, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle recruitment of undergraduate students joining AbbVie's EXCEL Externship, Internship, Co-Op, and Early Talent full-time programs within the Operations and R&D functions. In addition, you will collaborate with select universities and organizations to position AbbVie as an employer of choice for early talent opportunities. This role will operate within AbbVie's hybrid Ways We Work model, with three days per week in the office located in Lake County, IL.
Responsibilities:
Execute end-to-end campus recruitment (i.e., preparation, sourcing, screening, selecting, hiring, and onboarding) for key undergraduate programs within Operations & R&D, including the EXCEL Externship Program, Internship Program, Co-Op Program, Development Program, and Early Talent full-time hires.
Collaborate with the Manager of Early Talent Pipeline, Operations & R&D Program Managers, and the business to develop and implement campus recruiting strategies that align with hiring goals and attract the right talent for Operations and R&D.
Foster strong relationships with partner university staff and student organizations to enhance AbbVie's employment brand at targeted universities and organizations, in line with enterprise and functional strategies.
Work closely with the business to plan, coordinate, train, and lead all logistical aspects of on-campus and virtual recruiting efforts, such as information sessions, class presentations, career fairs, career center events, tabling, student organization events, and interview days.
Act as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment and interviewing process, providing timely updates, answering questions, extending offers, scheduling start dates, and ensuring effective follow-up and engagement.
Utilize talent acquisition and recruitment software, including applicant tracking systems (ATS), candidate relationship management tools (CRM), virtual sourcing platforms, events management tools, and research & benchmarking tools, to streamline and optimize the recruitment cycle.
Develop and foster peer relationships within the university recruitment space, leveraging data, benchmarking, and market intelligence to educate the business on the early talent landscape.
Facilitate internal recruiting update meetings with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration.
Contribute to special annual projects and support strategic initiatives.
Provide support for intern programming and event logistics.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in HR, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Minimum of four years of HR experience, with at least two years specializing in campus recruitment.
Proficiency in talent acquisition recruiting and sourcing systems, such as ATS (SmartRecruiters, Taleo, etc.), Events Management Tools (Yello, Avature, Brazen, Zoom, etc.), Virtual Sourcing Platforms & social media (WayUp, LinkedIn, Handshake, Symplicity, etc.), and CRM.
Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, MS Teams, Outlook).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence effectively at all levels of the organization and tailor messaging to diverse audiences.
Enthusiasm for talent acquisition and a desire to shape future leaders.
Demonstrated ability to manage projects within a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely completion within budget and to the satisfaction of stakeholders.
Proven track record of collaborative teamwork, adaptability, innovation, proactivity, and high ethical standards.
Experience supporting recruitment in R&D and Operations functions is preferred.
Willingness to travel up to 30% during campus recruitment seasons.
Ability to work within AbbVie's hybrid Ways We Work model, with three days per week in the office located in Lake County, IL.

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.?
