Join us in a dynamic, technically sophisticated trading organization as a Senior Business Systems Analyst supporting fixed income trading operations. In this role, you'll be pivotal in enhancing key processes, systems, and controls, taking charge of project analysis, requirements gathering, and ensuring alignment with business, vendor, and technology partners for seamless delivery and implementation. Utilize your exceptional organizational skills to manage projects, perform data and reporting analysis, and provide comprehensive, timely documentation and communications.
Key Responsibilities
Lead projects impacting fixed income trading, accountable to drive deliverables from concept phase through production validation
Identify business requirements and process improvements, which include creating project and process specifications and conducting quality inspections.
Facilitate requirement gathering and alignment with business, technology, compliance and vendor partners, while supporting projects under the direction of business leaders.
Solve complex system and system-related problems, resulting in timely and accurate document reporting and project team communication.
Support design phase with technology and vendors to ensure that proposed changes will integrate with fixed income traders current processes and controls
Write test cases, set up test data, execute user acceptance testing and regression testing
Manage impacts to control and regulatory processes, including MSRB and TRACE reporting, Execution Quality reporting and Written Supervisory Procedures
Identify and manage risks and issues, partnering with stakeholders to gain alignment on mitigation and resolution
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
1-2 years experience as a business systems analyst or similar role
5-7 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry
Strong organizational skills with ability to support multiple complex projects concurrently
Proven experience leading collaborative cross-organizational efforts to driving results
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills using data to identify trends and issues
Preferred Qualifications
Strong verbal, written and presentation skills with the ability to summarize complex concepts into concise senior leadership communications
Knowledge of core Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
Knowledgeable with securities trading processes, tools, or other relevant work experience
History of working within a highly regulated environment
Series 7 licensed
