Responsibilities
• Provide support for the EHS leader and oversee safety programs and procedures• Conduct plant safety inspections, observations, and accident investigations• Assist in improvement initiatives for the site• Develop and deliver New Hire EHS training• Identify hazardous conditions/actions within the plant and recommend corrective measures• Perform internal and regulatory reporting and communications• Analyze EHS performance and KPI's• Collaborate with other EHSS departments• Other responsibilities as required• Subject to change as department needs change
Requirements
• B.S. degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field• At least 3+ Years' EHSS experience in a manufacturing environment• Strong working knowledge of environmental regulations and OSHA regulations• Experience with Process Safety Management and training integration• Proven track record of injury prevention/control and incident rate reduction• Excellent leadership, change management, and mentoring/coaching skills• Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills• Must be 18 years or older• Applicants must be authorized to work for SABIC in the United States on a full-time basis• Regular availability and willingness to work during assigned hours of operation
