Senior Accountant

You'll play a key role in supporting month-end close, consolidations, and various accounting functions.
Responsibilities: Oversee and ensure accuracy of month-end closing procedures across multiple subsidiaries. Assist the team with the annual external audit. Resolve accounting issues, research processes, and support system improvements for colleagues. Mentor and train staff accountants, fostering a collaborative learning environment. Manage fixed asset lifecycles, including research, identification, entry, and depreciation. Prepare and file state sales and excise taxes, ensuring timely compliance. Contribute to Accounts Payable functions. Maintain key portions of the department's internal collaboration platform. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or MBA a plus). 3+ years of progressive accounting experience. Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP. Excellent communication skills at all levels. Leadership qualities and a results-oriented mindset. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with other financial systems.
