Hedgeye Risk Management is seeking a Managing Director, Research Sector Head to spearhead our coverage in one of the following sectors: Biotech, Utilities, or Metals and Mining. As a Sector Head, you will drive impactful research that influences investment decisions globally. IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:
Lead, build and direct research coverage in your designated sector, leveraging your expertise to uncover hidden opportunities and mitigate risks Comprehensively cover your sector by creating valuable content through relevant company contacts, buy-side contacts, and in-depth research perspectives on companies and industries Generate revenue and manage expenses, ensuring the success of your business unit Demonstrate strong leadership and management skills and work effectively across multiple business lines Play a pivotal role in shaping Hedgeye's digital media offerings, delivering cutting-edge content across web, mobile, video, and audio platforms Exceptional financial modeling and analytical skills that allow you to uncover insights and drive informed decision-making Passion for innovation and a relentless drive to push boundaries and challenge the status quo Proven experience leading teams, coupled with strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a client-facing role Bachelor's degree with strong academic performance; CFA preferred 7-10 years of equity research and analysis experience in either buy-side or sell-side roles, with a deep understanding of one of the specified sectors Series 65 License About Hedgeye: We are a leading provider of actionable independent investment research and a premier online financial media company.
