Responsibilities: Remove paint, rust, and other material build-ups from rough surfaces using specialized equipment that sprays abrasive materials. The material is typically a mixture of coarse sand and compressed air. High pressure forces the mixture through a hose to smooth or clean the surface Read work orders and production schedules to ensure completion in an efficient and timely manner Troubleshoot, clean, and repair machines regularly or call for repairs to be made Work with team to meet company deadlines, quotas, and goals Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Comply with health hand safety regulations and always wear protective gear Position Requirements: Previous Sandblasting experience is required Warehouse and/or manufacturing experience is a plus Required to stand for long periods Must be able to work in various weather conditions Engage in repetitive motions including squatting, bending, pushing, and pulling Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and collaboration skills Strong attention to detail Great attendance and punctual Surge hires for a variety of top jobs in the area.
