JOB DESCRIPTION
Wood's Automation and Controls group is currently recruiting for a part time Safety Instrumented System (SIS) Test Procedures Technical Professional to be located near a client site in Lake Charles, LA.

The job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Create Work Instructions for offline/online testing of SIS systems at a large client's refinery. Facilitate the client review and then update of the work instructions. Strong familiarity of best execution practices for the work instructions is required. Creation of work instruction templates for use by other team members. Part time position based in Lake Charles, LA. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering preferred, will also consider Technical Diploma with equivalent Experience. 10+ years of experience in a creating Safety Instrumented System (SIS) Test Procedures. Proficient knowledge of P&IDs and instrumentation/control equipment. 15+ years of experience in control systems integration with an operating company, systems vendor or engineering services provider for onshore or offshore oil & gas / energy industry projects is desirable. Hands-on experience with programming SIS (Triconex, Honeywell FSC, Safety Manager, DeltaV SIS) is desirable. Ability to multi-task, maintain flexibility, and work independently with minimal supervision.
