• Assesses patient conditions and determines need for interventions• Implements and modifies plan of care• Delivers care in a manner that preserves patient autonomy, dignity, and rights• Administers medications, IV therapy, and treatments• Evaluates progress towards desired patient outcomes• Documents assessments and interventions• Assigns or delegates tasks to support personnel• Collaborates with new employees and peers for orientation and training• Supports the profession of nursing• Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing• Current RN license in the State of Kentucky• BLS certification
