Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Clinic Services team as a Day Shift Clinic RN. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a clinic setting, focusing on health promotion, disease prevention, and chronic disease management. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for patient-centered care.
Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status, including vital signs, medical history, and current symptoms. Assist healthcare providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments as needed. Administer medications, vaccinations, and other prescribed therapies in accordance with clinic protocols. Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies. Coordinate patient care activities, including referrals to specialty providers, diagnostic testing, and follow-up appointments. Document all patient interactions, assessments, and interventions accurately and in compliance with regulatory requirements. Maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels for clinic operations. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, nurse practitioners, medical assistants, and social workers, to optimize patient care outcomes. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education activities to enhance clinical practice. Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Minimum of one year of experience in ambulatory care or clinic nursing preferred. BLS certification required; ACLS certification may be required depending on clinic specialty. Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
