Description
Ensure the physical integrity of our collaborators and guarantee business continuity, implementing strategies against risk scenarios, fire prevention model (physical barriers, operational barriers, administrative barriers, contingency plan) and activities focused on the early prevention of fires in Barcel organization.
Leading the fire prevention team at the plant, and all the projects related to it.
Duties and Responsibilities
Supervision of compliance and effectiveness of the Maintenance.
Risk analysis to determine preventive maintenance frequencies on critical equipment.
Ensure filling and compliance with operating routines in fire risk equipment.
Ensure filling and compliance with routines in the combustion train, monitoring findings.
Supervision and enabling of Safe Fryer.
Supervision of hot work, cutting and welding.
Compliance and correction of coordination study findings of protections.
Compliance and correction of energy quality study findings.
Compliance and correction of thermography study findings.
Detection of heat leaks in fire risk equipment.
Detection of leaks in fire risk equipment.
Supervision of fire risk activities (oven emptying, line stop, line start-up)
Ensure operating conditions within normal parameters in fire risk equipment.
Create risk maps with a focus on fire risk safety in critical equipment.
Ensure training and necessary supply of necessary tools for the execution of maintenance plans.
Report deviations in fire risk equipment.
Create security standards for critical equipment.
Carry out maintenance procedures and instructions for critical activities and equipment.
Training in risk maintenance and preventive actions in critical equipment.
Guarantee that all risk equipment has an automatic detection and suppression system in the event of fire.
Guarantee detection and alarm systems in the plant.
Monitoring of new SCI projects in the plant.
Monitoring and updating of SCI projects in the plant.
Risk Grading monitoring.
Fire prevention assessment monitoring.
Follow-up on insurer recommendations.
Qualifications
3 years' supervisory experience in industrial safety.
Safety Engineer degree/ Related trainings and experience (by different plants or external).
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
Must be able to read English, Spanish and follow written procedures.
