What You'll Do: The Accountant I position is part of our finance and accounting department and will be responsible for performing multiple accounting activities related to the receipt of money. This includes computing and recording transactions into the resort accounting system, verifying/auditing transactions in order to ensure accuracy, and communicating directly with departments to identify needs and resolve discrepancies. This position is also responsible for the billing and collection of wholesale travel agents while working with internal departments to monitor and follow-up on non-payment and other irregularities.
This role will often work independently to follow-up on duties and the ideal candidate will have an understanding of relevant computer programs (including Microsoft office), the ability to organize and prioritize with attention to accuracy and detail, good written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to maintain good working relationships and function as a team player. Full-time, year-round position with benefits eligibility. This position is located on premises in Breckenridge, CO.
