Old World Olive Co is searching for someone who enjoys food, and loves to talk about it! The position is for the 108 Monroe Center and/or Downtown Market locations. We are a family-owned, small business with a focus on excellent customer service. The Retail Sales Associate plays a vital role. Sometimes this will be the first interaction that many individuals have with the company. The primary role of the Retail Sales Associate is to provide customers with a unique shopping experience by utilizing excellent customer service and effective selling techniques while providing a fun and educational experience for each customer. We are looking for people who will have a real interest in this company's success and whose work will directly contribute to that. You need to have the ability to work with a team, and individually at times.
Responsibility
Welcome customers by greeting them and offering them assistance. Direct customers by escorting them to the various products; suggesting items. Process payments by totaling purchases; process checks, cash, and store or other credit cards. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Use judgment to solve customer problems. Maintain scheduling commitments Have the ability to work every other weekend and some early evenings Qualifications
