Steak 'n Shake is hiring immediately for a Restaurant Manager to join their team.
The Restaurant Manager is accountable for leading the associate team to deliver Steak N Shake standards. The position has the role of assessing performance, identifying opportunities for development, coach for
improvement. The Restaurant Manager will partner with his/her General Manager and will receive support
from District Manager, Director of Operations as well as HR to meet the business strategic objectives of the
organization. The Restaurant Manager will be held accountable for the correct delivery of Steak N Shake and Stenco Restaurants Inc procedures, policies and specifications which deliver world class food and world class service every single guest, every single time.
Restaurant Manager Role and Responsibilities: Full Time Position Reports to General Manager Leads a shift Responsible for operational excellence Maintains policies and procedures Able to work weekends and different shifts Passionate about guest service Maintains optimal restaurant cleanliness Ability to learn and be proficient in all positions of the front and back of house Ability to read, write and perform mathematical calculations Ability to lift 20-301bs occasionally Effectively interact with guests and associates Ability to motivate all associates to deliver great service and great food Problem solves Maintain personal hygiene and cleanliness Possess leadership and communication to effectively train and coach Job Summary :
1.Executes point walk and correct deficiencies as they arise
2.Ensure food is properly stored and prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and ensure recipe adherence
3.Actively manage the shift to ensure service, hospitality, accuracy, and speed
4.Maintains strict compliance with healthy and safety standards and procedure that comply with City,
County, State and Federal guidelines and laws
5.Demonstrate effective decision making and problem solving
6.Possess leadership and communication skills

* Two years minimum Restaurant experience
* Able to work weekends and different shifts
* Flexible and Adaptable
* Able to work more than 40hrs a week if needed by standing, walking, and stretching Strong Coaching, Mentoring and Motivational Skills
* Able to perform any task performed by service or production team
* Driver's License/ Reliable Transportation
