Role Overview: As the Restaurant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our establishment. You'll lead a dynamic team, maintain high standards of service, and contribute to the overall success of La Verguenza Puertorrican Chinchorro.
Responsibilities: Leadership and Team Management: Supervise and motivate staff, including servers, bartenders, and kitchen personnel. Foster a positive work environment, encourage teamwork, and promote professional growth. Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and performance feedback. Guest Experience: Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction by maintaining high-quality service standards. Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally. Monitor table turnover, wait times, and overall dining experience. Operations: Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures. Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control to optimize cost efficiency. Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain food quality and consistency. Financial Management: Monitor revenue, expenses, and budget adherence. Implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality. Prepare financial reports and analyze performance metrics. Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards. Handle any incidents or emergencies effectively. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role. Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Knowledge of Puerto Rican cuisine and culture is a plus. Familiarity with restaurant software and point-of-sale systems.
