Research Technician Market range 05 Non-exempt Department of Nutrition College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences The University of Tennessee, Knoxville Position Description: The Department of Nutrition at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville is seeking a skilled and dedicated Research Technician to support basic mechanistic research in Biomedical Nutrition and Public Health. This will be a 12-month staff position. The Research Technician will play a crucial role in assisting the Principal Investigators (PIs) with various research projects, conducting experiments, and ensuring the smooth operation of the research facilities. In addition, they will be responsible for assisting with research/experimental training and supervision of graduate and undergraduate students; maintaining training records; overseeing safety inspections; and ensuring compliance with protocols, policies, and regulations.
