Responsibilities
• Evaluate documents to determine insurance risk• Communicate with clients, applicants, agents, and underwriters• Process underwriting cases in computer image environment• Assist sales and support staff in resolving problems and questions• Maintain and protect confidentiality of information• Comply with safety and health regulations• Other duties as assigned
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent underwriting experience• 5 years underwriting experience• Insurance industry knowledge• MIB knowledge• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills• Ability to read, understand, and develop strong working knowledge of SOP's• Ability to comply with client underwriting processes and guidelines• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills• Good verbal and written communication skills
