Beverly Hospital is a Level III Trauma Center, Stroke Service Hospital and Emergent Percutaneous Cardiac Intervention Center. We serve as the primary point of entry for patients accessing these services. The department is staffed with at least one Emergency Medicine Board Certified Physician and Mid-Level Clinician at all times.
ED Pathway Plan for New Graduated that teaches essential nursing skills in med-surg/tele as an integral part of the inpatient team- those skills will then be transitioned to the ED at 1 year
RNs will benefit from coursework and progressively increase their knowledge base, experience and certs (Cardiac Class, ACLS/PALS, etc.). Further into the program, the Novice Pathway Course through the ENA (Emergency Nurses Association) which includes a 1 year membership will be assigned.
36 hours, night shift, (7p-7a)every other weekend and holiday rotations
Education and Experience required:
State of Massachusetts RN licensure (or eligibility)
BLS Certification
Preferred Qualifications:
At least one year of nursing experience in the ED or telemetry
BSN
ACLS, PALS, TNCC Certification

Non-Exempt
