Responsibilities
• Provide nursing care to patients in the operating room• Assist surgeons and other medical professionals during surgical procedures• Monitor patient's vital signs and ensure their safety during surgery• Prepare operating room for procedures and maintain sterile environment• Administer medications and anesthesia as directed by the surgical team• Document patient's medical history and update records• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans• Educate patients and their families about post-operative care• Adhere to all relevant healthcare guidelines and standards• Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements
• Minimum of 2 years of current experience as an Operating Room Registered Nurse• SD license is required• Resume without time gaps and education notated• References from 2 supervisors in the past year (updated yearly)• Two forms of ID; one must be a photo ID• Immunization Documentation; Covid, Flu (current season), HEP B, MMR, TDaP, Varicella• Current Yearly Physical• TB TEST; Two step or Quantiferon as requested by facility• BLS and any other certifications required of professional: AHA Preferred and often required• Skills Checklist and Competency Exams
