We are looking for nurses to cover from 7/22/24 – 8/13/24. This is a 24/7 operation. The shift needed to be covered is from 7:00am – 7:00pm (3 shifts per week). Job duties include participation in all aspects of Medcor's daily operations at our clients' place of business by performing duties related to Workplace incident triage, emergency response, and treatment for employees, contractors and guests. Experience in the treatment of minor illness and injuries as well as major trauma and medical emergency management is required. ***Successful candidates will possess solid clinical skills, have at least two years' experience in Occupational Health, Emergency Department, Urgent Care, or applicable experience.***A typical day in the life of a Medcor Nurse: Work as part of a team that provides excellent customer service to Medcor's client and employeesTreat injuries and illnesses according to Medcor's evidence based medicine protocolsRespond to medical emergenciesAdminister screening and testingWork closely with the Environmental, Health, and Safety departmentProvide wellness educationDocument utilizing an electronic medical recordAssisting with daily clinic operations including clerical, IT, medical supply management, and medical equipment maintenanceYou Must Have valid unrestricted Connecticut RN license and current CPR/BLS certificationHave a positive and outgoing personalityBe good at prioritizing and multitaskingBe willing to go above and beyond to give excellent customer serviceLove people and giving them the best care humanly possibleYou Should Have a minimum of 2 years field experienceBe able to follow processes and procedures with excellenceBe good with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and familiarity with EMR softwarePossess excellent verbal and written communication skills Culture
