We offer a wide range of benefits and rewards programs to recognize the important role you play in our Mission to transform healthcare.?Learn more about Medtronic benefits and compensation at the bottom of this job description.A Day in the LifeIn this role, you will report to the US Manager, Reimbursement and Health Economics for thePain InterventionTherapies Business.You will work independently with the sales teams, healthcare providers and payers to help ensure patient access to MedtronicPain Intervention Therapies.Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Maintaining proactive relationships influencing payers, providers, and other purchasing decision makers.Tracking payer/provider trends by geography. Integrate economic buyers feedback into Pain Intervention Therapies business planning (therapies to be pursued, current and future therapy trends, impacts and associated strategies).Educating customers on the reimbursement landscape across all sites of service and payers, including developing practical solutions to overcome any barriers that may exist.Daily troubleshooting to assist with provider health policy and reimbursement challenges.Partnering and supporting the national field sales organization to define and execute therapy access strategies and tactics.Assisting in developing reimbursement tools and materials for internal/external customers.Providing training and education for internal/external stakeholders.Ensuring personal understanding of all quality policy/system items that are applicable.Following all work/quality procedures to ensure quality system compliance and high-quality work.Travel less than 10% of the time.Must Haves- Minimum RequirementsTo be considered for this role, please ensure the minimum requirements are evident in your applicant profile and on your resume.Bachelors degree requiredMinimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experienceNice to Have – Preferred QualificationsMaster's Degree in business, healthcare, health policy or related field.6-7 years of medical device coding, coverage, and payment reimbursement experience.Work experience directly related to the payer or healthcare provider decision makers (C-suite, administration, director –level) physician, private practice managers)Experience developing and implementing strategic relationships and concepts with key influencers utilizing business and financial measures with economic modelingExperience creating and giving presentationsExperience utilizing effective influencing and sales skillsKnowledge and/or experience negotiating payer/provider contractsExperience building strong cross-functional partnersAbout MedtronicTogether, we can change healthcare worldwide. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factorssuch as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location.
