Responsibilities
• Lead a team of talented warehouse professionals in accomplishing regional logistics & business performance goals• Build a best-in-class safety culture through employee engagement, standard procedures, and training• Improve tactical execution of daily business plan to meet cost and service requirements• Create a culture of skills development and employee participation• Drive warehouse productivity and process improvements• Develop strategies to mitigate impact of volume surges and capacity constraints• Implement network optimization and product deployment plans• Collaborate and engage with cross-functional teams in the supply chain• Develop leadership team at each regional facility• Review and manage site financials• Ensure safety in the workspace and encourage a safety-oriented culture• Act as a point of escalation for problems and adjustments• Serve as a liaison to senior leadership and corporate support staff• Manage budget and forecast for region
Requirements
• BA/BS in logistics, Supply Chain or related field• Ten (10) years of working experience• Demonstrated depth of supply chain and logistics knowledge• Demonstrated breadth of job experience in large warehouse management• Demonstrated operational process improvement focus• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills• Exceptional leadership skills• Proven success in improving operational KPIs and performance• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS); JDA (Red Prairie) a plus• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning Systems (ERP); SAP a plus• Self-directed and proactive in issue resolution• Demonstrated financial acumen• System technology and data technology experience a plus• Problem identification and follow-through to issue resolution
