BMW Financial Services NA, LLC was established in 1993, supporting the sales and marketing of BMW products. Subsequently, we have expanded beyond the leasing, retail and commercial financing of a traditional captive-finance company offering a broad variety of products tailored for the BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce customer. Be a part of our exciting growth by expressing an interest in our Recovery and Retention Specialist position located in Columbus, OH.
As a Recovery and Retention Specialist, you will be responsible for the internal recovery of net credit and residual losses including End of Lease billings, Secured and Unsecured Collateral billings, and any outstanding receivables resulting from charged-off accounts. To be successful in this role, you must be knowledgeable in End of Term, Inspection, and Maturity Billing processes and be able to explain and collect on a wide range of charges to customer accounts. These may include, but are not limited to, Returned Payments, Personal Property Tax, Parking Tickets, and Vehicle Modification charges.
In this role, you will communicate with customers via telephone, e-mail and/or white mail, while remaining compliant with all applicable laws and regulations. You will be expected to effectively negotiate payoff amounts, settlements, and payment plans with customers while following the established guidelines and maintaining empathy and using strong active listening skills. Additionally, you will correspond with third-party repossession and collection vendors, ensuring accurate collection and maintenance of assigned accounts. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate account workflow by reviewing, monitoring, and processing all account activity as needed, including managing service alerts, contacting attorneys of record and representatives of accounts included in bankruptcy or with a deceased account holder, and assigning accounts to third-party collection agencies.

The pay range for this role is: $41,600.00 - $44,084.00.
The selected candidate's education, skills, experience, and location will be used to determine the final salary offer. All pay ranges are based on a full-time work schedule. This statement is in accordance with state and local pay disclosure requirements.
