Immediate Opening for a Quality Technician in Dayton, Ohio area. This role will require prior experience with Quality. Who We Are

We are positioned to be your one-stop staffing resource for all your hiring & employment needs from entry-level to executive, spanning across all industries.  Responsibilities:  Complete inspections at incoming, machining, assembly, final inspection and at the dock using existing work instructions, drawings, samples and forms. 
Schedule and complete 1st Articles Reviews and file associated reports. 
Identify and process nonconforming parts, following the nonconforming procedure. 
Participate in Problem Solving efforts through Corrective Action Process. 
Initiate, file and communicate with Purchasing all SCAR related information 
Maintains Master Samples in Sample Room and Master Control Sample Log 
Understand specifications for each customer, using control samples and drawings where available. 
Complete process audits as scheduled. 
Complete materials testing or other functional/ performance testing as required. 
Participate in and follow 5S program 
Investigate internal and external issues as required 
Collect and Summarize process data including defect data. 
Perform calibrations per work instructions to evaluate the precision and accuracy of testing/ measuring equipment. 
Follow all Safety Rules and Policies  Essential Physical Requirements: Ability to bend, squat, kneel, reach, and walk >75% of workday. Ability to stand 8 to 10 hours consecutively. Possess a full range of motion of arms and hands with ability to finger, handle or feel articles to differentiate their textures. Ability to speak to convey ideas by the spoken word or telephone; hear to perceive the nature of sounds with no less than a 4db loss @ 500 hz, with ability to receive and understand detailed information through oral communication; ability to make fine discriminations in sounds like warning alarms. Ability to see with the eye to perceive the nature of objects far and near with depth perception and accommodation, field of vision and with color vision to identify and distinguish the colors of resins; possess specific vision abilities that include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Smell, hear, learn, work, perform manual tasks, care for oneself, attend employment-related meetings and activities whether in person or utilizing an online tool, interact with others, breathe without an assistive device, and possess physical and legal ability to travel as business needs require.  Equipment Requirements:
To perform the essential functions of this job, employee must have the ability to safely use the following equipment: 
Basic Computer Skills  Tape measure, pallet jacks, hand trucks, carts.  Calipers, spectro photometer, sheens meter, adramameter, forklift certified, VoHH meter, moisture meter. Environmental Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to or required to work with the following in the plant:
Moving mechanical parts Noise level in the plant work environment is usually moderate to loud (85+ db).  Fumes/odors/dust  Standing on concrete  Walking on uneven surfaces  Hot/Cold temperatures  Wet Vibration  Qualifications:  High School Diploma or GED required.  Required minimum experience: 2+ years of similar commercial or industrial mill work or completion of internal training program.
Basic data entry skills for computer applications.
Microsoft Office skills preferred (Excel and Word) 
Blueprint reading required 
Familiarity with calipers, tape measures and other measuring systems 
Good Communication skills 
Able to travel and work overtime 
Shift: Monday-Thursday 6AM-4:30PM
Pay: $16+ depending on experience
