Full job description PURCHASING MANAGER Our team in Henderson currently has an opening for a Purchasing Manager YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES Leading a group of Packaged Buyers and Direct Buyers to meet the needs of Brenntag and our customer base. Work closely with Inventory Management, Product Management and Director of Materials Managed to insure Brenntag Mid-South's supply chain strategy is executed. Develop and maintain key Best Practices to drive efficiency and success across the Packaged and Direct Buying team. Maintain open communication with key stakeholders and foster communication amongst cross-functional teams. Lead team meetings to communicate information and drive best practices. Drive accountability within the team. Notify branches, inventory specialists and customer service of any upset in supply chain issues. Analyze purchasing trends for cost saving measures. Handle problems and disputes quickly and in a professional manner. YOUR PROFILE Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred, a minimum of 3 years related work experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Possess a high level of skill with Microsoft Excel, Teams and Outlook. Thorough working knowledge of business operating systems. Possess excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to prioritize work to meet time sensitive deadlines. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
