We do all we can to further the mission of our partners because their guests and the communities they serve, deserve it.Position Title: Maintenance AssociateReports to: Director of Guest ServicesResponsibilities· Perform minor fixes such as repairing broken locks, painting/oiling etc.· Electrical work such as replacing light bulbs, installing light fixtures· Do garden/yard upkeep by weeding rocked areas, tree & shrub pruning etc. Mowing and edging the property as needed. Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g. HVAC, TV)· Check functionality and fix irrigation.· Collaborate with workers and other professionals during any future renovations· Report to the manager on any issuesJob Requirements· Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical system· High level knowledge of irrigation systems and technology· Experience using hand and electrical tools· Ability to read technical manuals and drawings· Very good communication and interpersonal skills· Physical stamina and dexterity· High school diploma or equivalent· Proficient in EnglishIDEA + Belonging· Promote an inclusive & supportive approach within the Brand team, with networking continuing at all units· Focuses on removing barriers and empowering growth and opportunity for team members at all levels· Leads by example through Sustainability/Conservation efforts; displays knowledge of efforts in business application as well as giving adequate opportunity for teaching to unit staff as necessary· Engages with SSA/Unit in driving community effort through engagement activities and focus.
