Responsibilities
• Oversee daily operations of the financial team ensuring the best customer service is provided• Evaluate and track federal/athletic/scholarship programs for recruiting and retention• Maintain knowledge of federal and state financial aid regulations• Package and disburse financial aid awards• Monitor and adhere to applicable aid and NCAA rules• Ensure compliance with financial aid regulations in college athletics programs• Provide compliance information to appropriate departments• Assist in the annual review of FAS Policy and Procedure Manual• Provide assistance to potential and current students• Work with leadership team in the processing and balancing of scholarship programs and federal aid program• Prepare and present institutional annual reports• Review award determinations and resolve complex problems• Provide continuing education and training for staff• Collaborate with other Enrollment Services departments• Conduct all activities within FERPA guidelines
Requirements
• Knowledge of federal and state financial aid regulations• Experience with financial aid award packaging and disbursement• Familiarity with NCAA rules and regulations• Strong customer service skills• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities• Ability to work collaboratively with other departments• Understanding of FERPA and other applicable regulatory requirements
