Job summary
The Project Manager will lead and direct multiple projects of medium to large size and complexity.They will plan, manage, evaluate, and implement projects with high risk/impact financial, operational, or legal implications.The position requires a full understanding of project management frameworks and methods.

Responsibilities
• Independently lead and direct multiple projects and/or programs.• Plan, manage, and evaluate cross-functional/cross-organizational systems.• Develop and implement projects with high risk/impact financial, operational, or legal implications.• Anticipate project or program risks and plan appropriate action to avoid or mitigate risks.• Provide leadership and decision-making ability for projects involving competing interests and priorities.• Resolve a wide range of project management issues.• Manage projects of diverse scope, size, impact, budget, and/or project team size.• Pass off projects to owners for implementation and maintenance.
Requirements
• Seven years of related experience, education/training, OR a Bachelor's degree in a related area plus three years of related experience/training.• Basic knowledge of project management principles, theories, and concepts.• Ability to assess campus, medical center, or Office of the President needs for information technology products and design services.• Working knowledge of initiatives and understanding of their impact on the organization.• Demonstrated capacity to anticipate obstacles and plan for contingencies.• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.• Organization and project management skills.• Effective writing skills and knowledge of all aspects of communications.• Competency in selecting and implementing project management methods and techniques.• Proven leadership ability and problem-solving skills.• Ability to track effort and project progress.• Broad knowledge of initiatives and an understanding of impact on the organization.• Three or more years of relevant experience in project management or project management applications.• Applied knowledge of project management best practices and frameworks.• Healthcare and/or IT industry experience.• Effective communication and organization skills.
