Responsibilities
• Lead the project team by challenging and supporting all internal and external members• Cultivate teams that are tough, effective, and built on deep trust• Develop and mentor project engineers• Oversee risk management functions including contract review and deliverables, writing, and issuing subcontracts, and insurance certifications• Oversee cost control functions including change management, billings, forecasting and budgeting• Complete monthly progress reports• Work with superintendent to update construction schedule and communicate project schedule and impacts to the Owner on a regular basis• Prioritize and delegate critical items to all team members• Accountable for successful project completion, building lasting client relationships
Requirements
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a commercial construction project engineer or manager• Experience in commercial construction, preferably in Health Care (OSHPD), Life Sciences, Higher Education, and Office Improvements• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, project management software (Procore), and scheduling software (Microsoft Project)• Interpersonal skills - ability to engage with clients, internal team members, and trade contractors in a constructive, productive way to overcome obstacles, achieve results, and build lasting relationships
