Project Manager Pay: $28-32/hour Location: Remote - 1 day in office per month in Detroit, MI Part-Time 30 hours/week Temporary to Hire Overview: A local non-profit is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the delivery of the organization's events per defined project plans. Responsibilities Track project costs to meet budget
Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
Provide project updates consistently to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards for managing projects effectively
Monitor progress and adjust as needed
Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with 5-7 years relevant experience
CAPM/PMP certification preferred
Strong communication (written and verbal) skills
Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
Event management experience preferred
