BlueHalo Army Solutions Business Unit is seeking a Summer Intern to support the BlueHalo Senior Director for Program Management  to lead efforts to update programs, policies, and procedures as Blue Halo works to consolidate its approach to program management. 
Overall responsible for the daily interactions between Senior Program Management leadership and subordinate program and project managers as well as product managers. Contributes to, supports, and tracks the updates and reports regarding policies and procedures across the major cost, schedule, performance, and risk areas associated with the Blue Halo product line(s). The overall focus of these responsibilities is to facilitate an environment of trust, transparency, and confidence in Blue Halo's ability to deliver in accordance with agreed upon requirements, costs, and timelines. While not all-inclusive, these responsibilities include:
Coordinate within Blue Halo to facilitate information sharing and information flow, issue resolution, and senior leader decision making.
Support and provide accurate inputs to the processes and reports supporting cost, performance, risk, and schedule assessments.
Facilitate expectation management, ensure requirements are being met in accordance with approved documentation, and issues are conveyed to the proper teams for resolution and status.
Provide timely and informed recommendations that are feasible, suitable, and acceptable to the appropriate internal and/or external stakeholders to either mitigate risk or to embrace opportunity.
Required: Ability to successfully plan and execute key coordination meetings to include Program reviews, staff updates, and senior leader engagements. Ability to lead staffs in the development and delivery of contractually compliant documentation pertaining to internal and external reporting and status tracking; including requirements and design documents for hardware, software, and system interface; Technical Data Package (TDP); test plans and reports. Ability to understand and translate Integrated Master Schedule products for task analysis, resource identification, dependencies, progress tracking, and critical path tracking using Microsoft Project. Ability to managing vendors, subcontractors, and supply chains to ensure successful program execution. Ability to successfully identify, track and mitigate risk. Experience leading and conducting Microsoft Team Meetings (e.g., Stand-ups, SCRUMS, etc.). Proven experience leading multi-functional teams within a matrix organization (i.e., no direct staff, assigned project personnel from other functional organizations within the company) to successful program execution and delivery. Ability to work across/with internal multifunctional groups (Contracts, purchasing, finance, business development) which have a vested interest in, and/or support role, of assigned programs. Work independently without daily supervisory direction. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in MS Office Suite and Project. Minimum Bachelor's Degree w/relevant experience in leading small teams. The BlueHalo Effect
