Volt is immediately hiring Production – Wiring Associates for a global manufacturing company on the west side of El Paso, TX.
As a Production Associate you will: Performs wiring assembly operation of one job (from pre-arranged kit) Assemble moderately to complex electro-mechanical products Assemble custom switchboard cabinetry - medium to large sized parts Read complex prints and schematics Troubleshoot, fabricate and install parts Utilizes a variety of hand tools, air tools, and measuring equipment to complete job This is a full time opportunity. 1st Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
The ideal candidate will have: High School Diploma or GED 2-3 years previous Assembly experience Experience reading prints and schematics Ability to work independently Expertise with basic hand tools, air tools, gages and torque wrenches required Good hand eye coordination and excellent natural or corrected vision Understanding of electrical principles and UL Requirements is highly desired Excellent problem solving skills Ability to work Overtime is required Pay Rate: $15.00 to $16.25 per hour
