Responsibilities
• Conduct design and engineering investigations• Take overall responsibility for assigned projects• Produce AutoCAD and Inventor drawings• Select and evaluate components, hardware, and materials• Liaise with customers and internal departments• Interact with manufacturing shops• Assist with mill start-ups, service, and training• Produce manufacturing drawings• Correspond with manufacturing• Customer interaction and liaison• Track and report schedule• Attend and supervise installation• Work under direction to assist sales representatives and customers• Coordinate resources with other personnel• Troubleshoot deviations and initiate corrections• Provide assistance and guidance to others• Perform work in a safe manner• Comply with company guidelines, safety program, quality program, and regulations• Supervision is received for accuracy
Requirements
• Associates Degree or higher in Drafting, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or similar• Competent AutoCAD and Inventor skills• Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings• Ability to work with mathematical concepts• Good communication skills• Good computer ability• Professional image• Self-starter
