Some of your key responsibilities will include;Ensure the continuity of incoming tenders, including the establishment of new client relationships and evaluation of upcoming public tenders.Lead and manage the end-to-end tender/bid process from leads to contract execution, ensuring regular review of the tender process to identify opportunities for improvement.Develop and implement the pre-contracts strategy on a quarterly basis to align with the business strategy.Manage the team to compile bid submissions and ensure all documents issued to the client are presented professionally.Oversee downstream tender inquiries to ensure alignment with company procedures.Review contracts and negotiate favourable terms to align with Monford's corporate risk profile.Lead post-tender negotiations. Regularly report on the progression of tenders and proposals.Conduct a commercial review of bid submission proposals and ensure all risks and opportunities are identified and accounted for.CORPORATE RESPONSIBILITIESCompliance always to Monford's Occupational Health and Safety Policy.Report and rectify all potential and actual workplace hazards, injuries, incidents, and health concerns which come to your attention.Work within the guiding principles of the "Equal Employee Opportunities" legislation and Monford's Equal Employment Opportunity Policy and Code of Conduct requirements through respect and integrity of all stakeholders.Self-leadership through adherence to Fitness for Work requirements including drug and alcohol guidelines.Maintain personal accountability and hold a sound knowledge of Monford's Business Management Systems including all policies and procedures.CULTURE AND VALUESAdopt the businesses one-team approach to organizational culture and success.Engage in open communication, supporting a shared vision across the business.Maintain Monford's brand by ensuring internal and external relationships are maintained with a focus on excellence in all that we do.Maintain strong external relationships aimed at establishing competitive advantage and repeat business.About YouThe successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following;Tertiary qualifications in Quantity Surveying / Construction Economics or equivalent.Minimum of 7+ years' relevant experience in a similar role with 15+ years' experience within the construction industry.Demonstrated competency in managing numerous tenders concurrently.The ability to understand client requirements and drivers to efficiently manage client relationships.High level of proficiency in estimating software such as, Expert Estimation, CostX, ProEst.A proven ability to understand both technical and commercial aspects of key project requirements.Ability to build and manage a high performing team in a high-pressure environment.A good understanding of current and forecasted market conditions and the ability to translate forecasted trends into the pre-contract strategy.How to ApplyAt Monford, our RIPPA values are the cornerstone of our culture and achievements.
