Pharmacist

Position Summary:The Pharmacist is responsible for consulting with medical cannabis patients and administering approved medical cannabis products. In addition to that, the pharmacist oversees all operational activities and therefore is directly responsible for the success of the pharmacy. The ideal candidate must continuously learn about the industry so we may always maintain the highest professional customer service.Essential Job Functions:Oversee all pharmacy operations.Work with the team to achieve KPIs and organizational goalsSupervise operations of the store and its team members: opening/closing/changing shifts, task delegation, and scheduling team membersSupervise the control of store money including register counts, safe deposit, and change orders. Oversee all aspects of bookkeeping including invoices, cash reports, and time recordsOversee inventory managers to ensure strict inventory controlOversee and manage other pharmacists (including scheduling and training)Meet with every new cannabis patient and conduct a consultationListen and understand patient conditions and determine the respective proper treatment optionsEnsure patient profiles are up to date with current limits from their providerAid in management of sales floor inventory activity, patient care advocates, and point of sale transactionsEnsure compliance with all company policies and procedures and federal and state lawsOther duties as assignedQualifications:Must be licensed as a pharmacist to dispense controlled substancesAbility to learn and understand cannabinoids and how they interact with the human bodyWorking knowledge of inventory and sales reportingHighly motivated, self-directed to work individually or among team membersOperates professionally and with integrity while dealing with confidential informationSkills required:Must be licensed as a pharmacist to dispense controlled substancesMust complete 4-hour training course and become registered with the State as a cannabis pharmacistKnowledge of medicinal cannabis preferred but not requiredBasic computer skillsGood time management skillsEffective oral and written communication skills.
