We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Patient Accounts Receivable Representative to join our team in Oklahoma City, OK. Job Responsibilities: Billing and Invoicing: Generate and submit accurate and timely invoices to patients for healthcare services rendered. Review and verify billing information to ensure completeness and compliance with billing regulations. Follow-up on Outstanding Accounts: Monitor and follow up on outstanding patient accounts. Communicate with patients to resolve billing inquiries and discrepancies. Payment Processing: Record and process payments received from patients, insurance companies, and other sources. Reconcile payments with outstanding balances and update records accordingly. Insurance Verification: Verify insurance coverage and benefits to ensure accurate billing and reimbursement. Collaborate with insurance providers to resolve any issues or discrepancies. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to patients regarding billing inquiries and concerns. Educate patients on billing processes, insurance coverage, and payment options. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient accounts, payments, and communications. Generate reports on accounts receivable status and communicate findings to management. Adherence to Compliance: Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and billing standards. Stay informed about changes in billing and coding guidelines. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in healthcare administration is a plus. Proven experience in accounts receivable or medical billing, preferably in a healthcare setting. Strong understanding of medical billing processes, insurance procedures, and reimbursement policies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. Proficient in using billing software and Microsoft Office applications. #KA
