Responsibilities
• Provide instructional reinforcement for individual students or small groups• Assist teacher with classroom management and supervision• Help with administrative duties and preparation of materials• Supervise students in various settings• Support students with special needs according to their IEPs/504 Plans• Communicate with parents/guardians• Follow ATC Healthcare Services and client policies and procedures• Perform other duties as directed by the teacher and school administration
Requirements
• Completed State of Illinois Professional Educator curriculum for Paraprofessional• Associate degree (or higher) from a regionally accredited institution of higher education• Valid State of Illinois Professional Educator License endorsed for Paraprofessional• At least one year of experience• Background screening, CPR certification from American Heart Association, Hepatitis B statement/declination, tuberculosis screening test, physical exam, drug screening as required
