Paper Pilot Plant Operator

Job Description: Provides customer service to internal and external clients. Assists clients with make up and process additions. Provides information and instruction on equipment and instrument operations. Coordinates incoming and outgoing shipments. Performs routine maintenance on Pilot Plant equipment and performs plant housekeeping functions. Maintains the receiving, storage and shipping areas. Reports the commodity inventory to the supervisor. Maintains an inventory of replacement parts for pilot plant equipment. Provides instruction on material handling, processes operations and equipment use to faculty, staff and students. Trains new pilot plant operators on plant operations and the use of various equipment. Supervises students who assist with running machinery. Short Job Description: High school diploma or equivalent. Two years' relevant experience. Knowledge of the paper-making, printing and coating processes. Job Ref: S724P
