Packaging Engineer

Job Description:
Define STD Packaging (design packaging and create std packaging instructions) Measure packaging and create std packaging instructions (for packaging we don t want to change) Build PFEP master file and PFEP. Develop and improve procedures and instructions to minimize packing line setup and changeover time / cost Works in compliance with GMP work practices, ISO3485, ISTA Standards. Work with Packaging operations and suppliers to troubleshoot packaging issues, maintain packaging quality, and optimize packing line efficiencies Participates as the team member responsible for packaging on New Product Development projects and Packaging Development projects Skillset:
5+ years of relevant experience relating to Packaging/ manufacturing engineering of industrial products and their components. Detailed knowledge of packaging qualification testing Experience designing packaging with variety of packaging materials Strong communication skills to relate to sales, customer service, quality, operations, and supply chain. Effective use of problem solving and critical thinking to drive continuous improvement. Proficient in MS Office and basic computer skills Proficient with CAD NX/Pro-E/AutoCAD Software
