Enjoy a fulfilling career as you support the health of our patients and a team focused on excellence.Overview: Under the leadership of the Director of Surgical Services, the Surgical Services Operations Analyst Lead will assist in planning, organizing, directing and evaluating support services and systems, block scheduling, data analysis and reporting, and revenue management activities within Perioperative Services. Engages in review of daily key performance indicators and monthly operational results. Provides direction and leadership in the preparation of variance analyses, investigations of reasons for major variances, develops and presents potential solutions. Works collaboratively with our IT and Informatics departments to ensure accuracy and ease in reporting, optimization, and project improvements related to workflow and efficiency.
Responsibilities: Responsible for and assists the Director of Surgical Services in the development and management of the surgery scheduling system, clinical information systems within perioperative services. In coordination with decision support services, IT, and Informatics assists with data analysis and reporting. Actively identifies and assists in implementing strategies which optimize utilization in all areas of perioperative services. Participates and leads in designated PI projects to ensure Perioperative Services meets organizational and institutional required outcomes. The Surgical Services Operations Analyst Lead coordinates business functions throughout the perioperative areas. Maintains active communication among medical staff, interdepartmental staff, and operating room staff. Is responsible for assisting the Director of Surgical Services to organize and forecast the operating and capital budget. Qualifications: Minimum licensure/certification required (if applicable):
BS degree in Nursing or Business Management Required 2-4 years of general analyst experience required 2-4 years of experience within Surgical Services required Experience with information systems, specific to operating room preferred. Skills Essential:
