Responsible for planning, managing and directing business operations for the Americas region in support of multiple lines of business to include the following functions: general organizational and FM operations, project management, finance, commercial, contract administration, licensing, and data reporting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operations
Manages the development of training program(s), business processes and system training program(s) for a team to include creation of training strategy and implementation of training plan for the business. Supports and communicates policies, procedures and initiatives to ensure consistency across the business. Ensures shared knowledge, implements process improvements and engages the right resources in issue identification and resolution. Identifies and implements innovations to enhance performance of the business units and support functions. Partners with business teams and departments to identify and implement organizational best practices. Supports the transitioning of new accounts; offering guidance in the financial and technology system. Contributes to the implementation of new Operations, Finance, Commercial and/or Procurement procedures to the Business Unit staff, including the development of training materials. Supports the buildout and maintenance of SharePoint and document management sites for Local AMS. Leads the new business unit implementation process. Support People Engagement and account DE&I objectives; Promote and maintain CBRE culture throughout account. Other duties may be assigned.
Finance/Commercial Prepares regular and ad hoc data reports for financial and other business metrics. Analyzes trends to identify opportunities to improve financial and commercial performance. Maintenance of Finance system data; Ensures BU Business Operations Managers and Contract Support team are delivering accurate processing of quotations, purchase orders, service orders, client and vendor invoicing. Subject Matter Expert (SME) for key systems/processes in subject teams and day-to-day functions of finance systems and provide training where needed.
People
Advises and supports the recruitment of Business Operations Managers and Contract Supports at the BU and Account level. Aids the Divisional Business Operations Manager with training new Business Operations Managers and Contract Supports as needed. Organizes coverage for absences within the Business Operations Managers team; stepping in where needed to fill in gaps.
Supervisory Responsibilities Provides direct guidance and indirect managerial supervision to employees within the Business Operations and Contract Support Communities. Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values.

Education and Experience Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university. Minimum of five years of related experience or minimum of six plus years' experience including four years of management experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous supervisory experience required.

Communication Skills Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret the most complex business documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive issues. Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups. Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, top management, and client groups to take desired action.

Reasoning Ability Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations. Requires expert level analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in developing strategic solutions for a growing matrix-based multi-industry sales environment. Draws upon the analysis of others and makes recommendations that have a direct impact on the company.

Financial Knowledge Requires in-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate complex figures. Ability to forecast and prepare budgets. Conducts financial/business analysis including the preparation of reports.

Other Skills and Abilities Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Spreadsheet skill set to include advanced functions such as graphics, pivot tables, macros and database management required.

Knowledge of Financial software systems (e.g. PeopleSoft, Dynamics).

Scope of Responsibility Decisions made with in-depth understanding and interpretation of procedures, company policies and business practices to achieve general results. Responsible for setting department deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause long-term impact to co-workers, supervisor, department and/or line of business..

Key Relationships Reports to the AMS President, COO or Managing Director, Programs and Strategy
Partners closely Director of Finance, Divisional Leaders, Functional Directors (e.g. Sales, Commercial, Procurement, etc.), Business Operations Managers, Finance & Contract Support Managers, and Contract Supports.
