Job Description The Operations Maintenance Coordinator coordinates work between operations and maintenance, ZEP coordinator
Role and Responsibilities Manage work order backlog by weeding out duplicate work orders, work orders that have been completed or work orders that are not valid work orders and are not going to be completed. Review work orders to make sure work orders have good, detailed information so everyone knows what needs completed. If work order doesn't have detailed needed contact work order creator and instruct them to add detail needed.  Verify work orders are written to correct functional location so Maintenance Planner doesn't waste time searching for correct functional location to find BOM to order parts needed. Verify work order had been written to the correct planner group and work center so backlogs are accurate. Set Priority of each work order that is written to ensure work is planned and completed in order need to keep equipment production flowing. Hold weekly meetings with production group to review new work orders and discuss issues that do not have work order. Review proposed weekly Maintenance Schedule for coming week to determine if there are any issues and resolve them. Hold weekly meetings with Maintenance Supervisor to review schedule for next week. After schedule has been reviewed and issues resolved the schedule for next week is set. Daily meet with Maintenance Supervisor to review work orders completed that day. Any issues that came up that delayed work or cause work order not to be completed. Discuss work orders that were not completed and determine if they have higher priority than work orders on following day of week and modify schedule if needed. Work orders that do not have a higher priority that was not completed need moved to the top of the ready to be scheduled list and scheduled accordingly. Provide training for Operational personnel that issues writing a work order with all the key elements that are needed to eliminate wasted time because of corrections needed and delays in work order being prioritized and moving to planning phase. Provide troubleshooting support when needed to Converting Operation and Maintenance Personnel.  Determine if unscheduled work order that are believed by work order create to be a break-in work order for Maintenance Shop. Is work order a break-in, can it be completed by tour maintenance, or can it be schedule for another day so Maintenance Shop can stay on scheduled work orders. If work order is a true break-in coordinate repairs with Maintenance Supervisor and planner so resources can be gathered, and repairs made.  Be the owner of major machine rolls. Keep inventory of major rolls which rolls are inhouse and which rolls are out for repair. If roll needs repair determine repairs needed and contact inhouse roll shop to determine if they can repair. If they can't make repair contact outside roll shop for quote, write work order for repairs, create a requisition for outside roll shop to make repairs and get an RFQ to send out roll. Work with Maintenance to send roll out for repairs. Be the ZEP Coordinator for the Converting Area. Maintain Zep Sheets for the converting area by making sure they comply with the Mill ZEP Policy. Make any changes that are needed to ZEP Sheets, so they are up to date. Review all ZEP Sheets once a year per policy to verify they are error free. Build ZEP plans for shutdowns, hold meeting to review ZEP plan and execute the plan on shutdown day. Provide training to Operation Personnel on proper ZEP procedures per Mill ZEP Policy. Temporary filling for Converting Superintendent and Converting Assistant Superintendent when needed. Develop and implement projects to resolve ongoing issue with equipment that will make equipment more reliable. Qualifications Associate or bachelor's degree preferred, equivalent work experience is acceptable as well. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Ability to plan, manage projects, time and stay within planned budgets. Additional Information Competitive healthcare benefit package and 401K match.
