Operations Intern

The Operations intern will gain significant knowledge and experience in truckload operations and gain real-world business experience and skills that will prepare them for their future career. This role will provide support to our professional drivers and fleet teams through experiential learning. · Shadow experienced logistics professionals to gain insights into the industry and company operations.
· Update and maintain transportation management systems (TMS) or other databases with accurate information.
· Assists with dispatching of professional drivers and coordination of rote assignments.
· Track and monitor the movement of trucks and shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
Communicate with professional drivers, dispatchers, and customers to provide updates on shipment status and resolve any issues.
· Providing administrative support to the operations team, such as filing paperwork, data entry, and organizing documents.
· Participate and contribute in team meetings.
Supporting the operations team in various ad-hoc projects and assignments as needed.
· Ability to take verbal/written instruction and execute with confidence.
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
· Attention to detail.
· Ability to thrive in a fast-pace, high stress environment.
· Ability to work independently and as a team when needed.
· Effective verbal and written communication skills.
· Customer service skills.
· High School diploma or equivalent required.
· Pursuing higher education in business administration or supply chain preferred.
Prior customer service experience a plus

Pay Range: $13.57-$18.55
