Full job description Duties Assists management with the operation of facility in accordance with established procedures. Issues, receives and controls cash receipts and change funds; verifies cash count of funds turned in by cashiers. Determines cash shortage or overages. Assures only authorized patrons utilize the facilities. Submits daily report of operations. Assists in setting up parties according to party plan. May assist bartenders in setting up bars and/or cashier's bag. Completes Daily Activity Report. Completes fire safety checks and secures the facility. May monitor inventories, place and receive food and beverage orders using Food track or similar software. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required. Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position. Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check. A one year probationary period may be required. Ability to work occasional Saturdays for special events (IF REQUIRED BY MANAGEMENT). Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Candidates must possess: Progressively responsible duties in the receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit, custody or other processing of cash items. Education Foreign Education: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show that the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.


Additional information Area of Consideration: The Area of Consideration for this vacancy announcement is Fort Sam Houston, Bexar County, TX and surrounding area within 50-mile radius; in addition to, you are considered eligible if one of the following applies: you live outside of this area and are able to commute to work on a daily/as needed basis, or you are able to relocate yourself on your own expenses (must be able to be present for work within 2 weeks of selection). Military Spouse Preference (MSP) and Involuntarily Separated Military Preference (ISMP) eligible candidates are included in the area of consideration. Salary Information:
Salary is pro-rated based on a 40 hour work week. Hourly salary is:
NF-02 $15.00ph to $22.00ph



PCS Costs Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest. Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differential s This is a pay-banded position. Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
