*Unit Manager Duties*:- Supervise and manage a team of healthcare professionals in a nursing home setting- Oversee the delivery of patient care and ensure adherence to quality standards- Coordinate and schedule staff assignments to ensure adequate coverage- Monitor and evaluate the performance of staff members- Provide guidance and support to staff in the areas of patient care, IV insertion, medication administration, and aseptic technique- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans for patients- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff- Utilize electronic medical record systems such as Epic to document patient information accurately
*Unit Manager *Experience:- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in nursing home or home care- Strong knowledge of nursing practices, including IV insertion, medication administration, and aseptic technique- Proven experience in supervising and leading a team of healthcare professionals- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems, such as Epic- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
