Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field Minimum 6+ years Public Accounting Exp. At least 6+ years Tax Compliance exp. Strong experience working with clients in the Non-Profit / Tax Exempt arenas Strong expertise in providing tax planning and advisory services to colleges / universities, public charities, charter schools, private foundations, healthcare entities, and other tax exempt organizations Strongly Prefer: Active CPA or EA Certification required Masters in Accounting Not-for-Profit credientials / certifications Benefits Competitive Salaries ($125k-$170k) Annual Bonuses Unlimited PTO Full Benefits - Medical, Dental, Vision Paid Maternity/Family Leave Flexible schedules & remote flexibility Responsibilities Review and / or prepare complex Forms 990, 990-PF and 990-T and provide advice to clients regarding exempt organization and tax return issues. Ensure that clients comply with all applicable authorities, while at the same time minimizing their tax and reporting burdens, and self and client service teams comply with all Firm policies, standards. Manage multiple clients and deadlines to match internal and client expectations for timely delivery of service. Gather and manipulate audit and client information as needed to prepare returns. Identify when research is needed; clearly and concisely frame issues to be researched; clearly and concisely report the analysis. Develop, train, and supervise Staff level team members.
