ECHO is seeking to fill the position of National Sales Manager based out of our Lake Zurich, IL facility. The National Sales Manager will be responsible for formulating and implementing sales strategies to achieve the company's goals. This includes setting and supervising objectives, revenue targets, and sales initiatives for the ECHO and Shindaiwa brands in North America, sold through an independent, two-step distributor network.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company sales targets.
Identify market trends and opportunities to drive growth in the distribution channel.
Oversee and contribute to the development of sales plans, encompassing promotions, programs, and training necessary to meet annual objectives.
Develop and execute the strategy to secure new and existing accounts.
Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
Implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue and market share.
Develop and manage the sales budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
Track expenses and report on financial performance.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and align sales strategies accordingly.
Provide feedback on advertising, promotions, packaging, and merchandising.
Furnish comprehensive reports on business performance in relation to the plan, activity levels, and initiatives driving results.
Work with the team to develop accurate sales forecasts.
Adjust strategies based on market dynamics and performance trends.
Other Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company sales targets.

Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and align sales strategies accordingly.
Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
Implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue and market share.
Market Research:
Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competition, and customer preferences.
Use insights to develop and adjust sales strategies.
Budget Management:
Develop and manage the sales budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
Track expenses and report on financial performance.
Forecasting:
Work with the team to develop accurate sales forecasts.
Adjust strategies based on market dynamics and performance trends.
Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, logistics, and finance to ensure seamless operations.
Coordinate with internal teams to address customer needs and resolve issues.
Compliance:
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
Implement and enforce ethical sales practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Proven experience as a Sales Manager, preferably at a national level.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
In-depth knowledge of the distribution channel and industry trends.
