Under the direction of the Director of Training & Engagement the incumbent oversees training projects and initiatives including compliance and engagement.
Oversee department trainers and develop customized training and department specific initiatives utilizing secret shops and survey results in collaboration with Guest Satisfaction. Oversee Training Specialist and assist as necessary with new hire induction, Leadership and Amplified Service training classes. Develops and works hand in hand with specialist on programs and development. Assist to create and implement new training courses. Review compliance reports and works with departments on completion. Assist with engagement programs in engagement specialist absence. Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate managers of concerns and observations. Demonstrate actions and behaviors that reinforce the Company's Mission and Values. Ensure prompt and discreet notification to managers and/or the Ethics Hotline of any observation of illegal acts or internal ethics violations. Other duties as assigned. Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred, and five (5) years similar Human Resources experience required with a heavy emphasis on classroom training experience in a large company (1,000 or more employees) or an equivalent combination of education, certification and experience, preferably in a hospitality company or casino. Previous Management/Supervision experience preferred. Excellent communication, presentation and analytical skills required. Professional demeanor and attention to detail with strong organizational skills. Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills. Ability to update and deliver customized training programs which create a service level of excellence for internal and external guests. Ability to tie training to the organization's strategic goals. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality. Must be proficient in MS Office, i.e. Excel, Power Point, Outlook and Word. #indeedAC ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays may be required at times. Commitment to routinely go above and beyond in the accomplishment of position responsibilities in an effort to play a role in the achievement of organizational goals. Must present an image of excitement, enthusiasm, and outgoing personality, while being able to project a professional demeanor.
