Once hired, we encourage our employees to continue to seek opportunities for advancement and leadership.Responsibilities for Medical Director:Responsible for all clinical decisions at the facilityEnsures all clinical needs are being met within the facilityProvides direct and indirect basic medical care to meet the physiological and emotional needs of the patientConducts rounds in the medical and infirmary unitsPerforms sick call visits, and manages chronic careResponds to and initiates care for medical emergenciesLeads efforts to evaluate the quality and effectiveness of healthcare servicesCoordinates, leads and participates in educational and training activitiesMay supervise Staff Physicians and other medical staff
Qualifications for Medical DirectorActive, unrestricted physician license in the state of
ArizonaPossess a current DEA registrationBoard Certification in Family Practice or Internal MedicineA valid CPR cardExperience in primary care with administrative experience in corrections and/or managed health care delivery preferred.
