About the role:Working as part of the Aurizon maintenance team in Malcolm/Leonora, you will be required to exercise your mechanical trade skills in servicing, repairing and maintaining heavy industrial plant in order to ensure the efficient running of freight services.This will be a permanent role that will see you working a FIFO rosterConduct routine corrective maintenance and fault repair.Report on actual work performed against the scheduled work program.Ensure all work is performed in accordance with technical and operational specifications.Maintain all records and associated documentation relating to asset condition, maintenance programs and costing systems.Progress the implementation and application of work procedures and practices in pursuit of ensuring continuous quality improvement.About you:Mechanical Trade Certificate.Strong commitment to safety.Current unrestricted drivers' licence.Adequate level of skill in interpreting technical instructions and drawings.High level of knowledge of functions, defects and fault finding with equipment.Substantial level of skill in the repair, maintenance and overhaul of diesel trucks and heavy industrial plant.What we offer you:At Aurizon, we support the development and growth of our employees.
